Antique Clocks
  1. An antique clock may need re-adjusting after transit. It is an easy process and we can provide assistance by email or phone if preferred.
    • We also have an online link showing how this is done.
  2. Please remember that antiques are old, so there will inevitably be signs of age and usage marks, but anything above and beyond that will be described in the listing.
  3. If you require an in depth condition report, please email us at enquiries@timemachineclocks.com.
 
Website Order Options
  1. There are 3 ways of ordering an item directly from our website:
    • PayPal
    • Debit or Credit Card
    • Phone or Cheque Payment
  2. PayPal Payment
    • PayPal works similar to a normal credit card payment and you don't need a PayPal account to pay this way.
    • Payment is made using their highly secure server which offers the highest possible level of protection for your personal and credit card details.
    • Your payment will be authorised within seconds if there are no problems, thus securing your purchase with the minimum of delay, which is very important when dealing with a rare "one-off" antique.
  3. Debit or Credit Card
    • You submit your debit/credit card details to Time Machine Clocks using the online ordering procedure.
    • During normal working hours in the UK, your payment will be processed by Time Machine Clocks.
    • If everything is in order, your payment will be confirmed to you and the items ordered will be prepared for shipping.
  4. Phone / Cheque Payment
    • Use this option during the online order process if you wish to pay by any off the following methods:
      • Phone - provide your debit or credit card details by phone to Time Machine Clocks.
      • Cheque/Check - you wish to pay using a cheque/check.
      • Bank Transfer - you with to pay by bank transfer.
 
Payment Policy
  1. We accept payment in a variety of ways including PayPal, debit cards, credit cards, bank transfer and cheque (check).
    • Online Payment Options: PayPal, debit card, credit card.
    • Offline Payment Options: debit or credit card by phone, bank transfer, cheque.
  2. Payment is required immediately if paying online, or within 3 days after the order has been placed if using an offline payment option.
  3. Unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing or email by Time Machine Clocks, if payment is not received, confirmed and cleared by the appropriate bank or credit card organisation within the time limits outlined above, then Time Machine Clocks will have the right to consider the transaction null and void and openly advertise and present the item(s) for sale on the website once again.
 
Shipping Policy
  1. Shipping worldwide is available.
  2. Parcels are priced at volumetric size and not actual weight.
  3. We combine shipping at a reduced cost where it is safe to do so.
  4. Any customs charges or import duties are the buyers responsibility, and buyers are advised to check the import requirements in their country prior to ordering.
  5. Shipping prices are dictated by the shipping companies and out of our hands, but we do pass on our account savings to the buyer.
  6. All shipments are fully Insured and trackable at all times.
  7. Tracking number and shippers website details will be provided.
  8. Our main priority is to get your Item to you as safely as possible so we use the best special packing materials and techniques to ensure this is achieved.
  9. We have many years experience in shipping antique clocks all over the world .
  10. Once payment has been received, confirmed and cleared by the appropriate bank  or credit card organisation, items will be shipped as follows:
    • Payment cleared Monday to Thursday
      • Shipped next day
    • Payment cleared Friday
      • Shipped Monday
    • Payment cleared day before a UK bank holiday
      • Shipped next available Monday-Friday working day
  11. This does not include heavy or bulky items like longcase clocks which require a specialist freight handler.
    • Shipping dates and times will be dictated by the freight handler and beyond the direct control of Time Machine Clocks.
 
Returns Policy
  1. If an item is damaged in transit;
    • Take a photograph if possible showing the condition of the packaging when received,
    • Take a photograph is possible of the damage to the item.
    • Contact Time Machine Clocks immediately by phone or email to discuss your options
  2. If returning an item because it is no longer required or does not meet the buyers expectations, it must be packed and returned in the original box and packing materials
    • Return shipping costs will be the buyers responsibility
    •  If returned item is received by Time Machine Clocks in the same condition as originally shipped to the buyer, then the original cost of the item will be refunded.
    • Original shipping costs will not be refunded.
